Reliable tyre withe best wet grip.

I have Skoda Superb Sedan, 2020. I got Primacy 4 with the car itself. Overall performance is good. The main test came when I drove in Finland, for the first time on primacy 4. The weather in July end and first week of August was full of rains. From Helsinki to Jyväsküla and back, it is almost 600 km. The rain was so heavy that visibility was not even 30 to 40 metres. The car was so stable. I had full control. No Hydroplaning. I was above 90 km. Later on the motorway I was driving under 120 kph, I faced no problem whatsoever. This trip was a family vacation. So my son and my wife plus the weight of our suitcases. Tyre pressure was 2.2 bars. I drove more than 900 Km's in a very bad weather. The tyres performed very well. The only thing I have not tested as yet is the emergency braking. I like Primacy 4 now. I recommend Primacy 4 as I believe only after testing the tyres myself. So according to my experience this is the best tyre. I do not know how the emergency brake performance is. I will check this as well. The wet grip is the best. No doubt about it.

You need to feel it to believe it.

After researching for more than 4 months, I finally decided to go with the Primacy 4 on my BMW. Loved it from the moment I put it on. The ride comfort and quiet ride are what impressed me the most. Since we live in the desert heat you will need to figure out the ideal tire pressure. I have set mine to 2 psi lower for the most optimal ride. The car feels so quiet and all vibrations from my previous tire have fully gone. This tire is consistently in the top 3 is many reviews and its a well-deserved spot.

Not as good as Primacy 3 or other brands I have had.

Not as good as Primacy 3 or other brands. Expensive very poor wet grip to the point of them being dangerous. Profit before customer safety and satisfaction do not recommend Primacy 4 and will buy again.

Good but

After loving the primacy 3 tyres which were absolutely fantastic I went for a set of primacy 4 tyres which are miles better than the pirellis the car came with but I couldn't help but be a little disappointed in them as yes they last longer than the primacy 3 but don't give you the same great grip Don't get me wrong they are a decent tyre but I was just expecting more from them to stand up to their predecessor

Eco summer tyres to get you from A to B

Reading the test reviews I was expecting much more from these tyre but I got instead a big dissapointment. There is a perminent sliding feel that brings an unsafe feeling. These tyres make the car really unpleasent in any kind of attempt to drive a bit faster than a pentioner's speed. There is also very slow turn in and a lot of understeer. On bad roads the car gets noisy and uncomfortable. With this profile and size it really is unbelievable. I definately do not recommend these tyres. The car is a new volvo V40 D2 2.0 and the tyre size is 205/55/16. I have driven my car with tyres from different brand and it feels like a different car. So far I cannot say anything for longevity because I have only done 4000km, but there is no visible wear yet. At anycase I will throw away these tyres after this summer when I change to winter tyres and get a new set for next year.

Primacy 4 losing grip in wet conditions

Primacy 4 losing grip in wet conditions and finds extremely dangerous. I have been using Michelin for more than 13 years and totally disappointed with this new successor of Primacy 3.

All good so far.

Second set of Michelin tyres on this present car, very difficult to compare with other tyres, but overall performance in the wet and dry is good, bearing in mind that I don't drive as though my hair is on fire, and the wear seems to be reasonable. I do get significant road noise on some surfaces, but that is probably due to the profile of the tyres!

Ride - Traction ok, had one tyre fail after one trip of 4,000 miles tyre company replaced at no charge.

Value Average, Wear Average was expecting better mileage/performance from them than my last set of Continantals. I have three cars all have a set of your tyres on now, they are all performing under different conditions. But with the same Average mileage performance nothing special. Hand on heart was hopeing for better longer lasting quality.
