Toooo much noisy worst tyre
I change tyres in my xuv 500 last saturday all 4 tyres and go to 120 km on next day sunday for a function but my mood is off because of tyre noise.... Michelin plz change my tyre plz plz 🙏 its more expensive then other but not comfotable.
LTX trail a very noisy tyre
I recently upgraded to LTX trail from Primacy SUV, and a complete disaster. Going by the Michelin brand name and company’s claim of creating a more silent tyre i went on for the upgrade but what happened was totally the opposite. you’ll not be able to hear a thing inside your car once you cross speed of 80 or 90. i would not recommend this tyre at all and don’t know based on what calculations company claims to manufacture a more silent tyre. Moreover after two months of use the tyre’s side wall got damaged upon touching the small pot hole which was not even sharp so that proves it is not meant for rough surfaces as well
Great Tyre
Fitted on Hilux revo 2.8 gd6 with mileage 13600km, Very little noise or vibration noted even when travelling at a constant 130km/h . Fuel consumption was improved slightly as rolling resistance seems to be less than previously experienced with factory fitted tyres. Good cornering ability for any AT tyre when driven hard. No tyre sequel when accelerating through tight corners as previously experienced. No rear wheel tyre spin when accelerating hard as experienced with factory fitted tyre. Rubber compound seems to be softer which adds to comfort as imperfections in the road are felt less. Overall a great package.
Good buy noisy
Good traction and control, getting very noisy around 80kmph. Shattered the expectation on the comfort side.
LTX Trial is Noisy definitely not recommended
I bought this tyre in July drove 5k kms, on xuv 500 absolutely not recommended , tyre is noisy. It s not worth paying so high compared to its competitors Ltx force was better. LTX trial is waste of money. I am a michelin loyal customer but totally dissapointed with LTX TRIAL8
Feedback
Extremely Noisy tyres once your vehicle crosses 90km/hr speed levels, shall suggest michellin to recall these tyres as they might change the brand image of Michellin among their loyal customers
Replaced same tyre after 2016 as the tyres have been exceptionally very supportive on long drives
These tyres lasted for five years without any problem
Excellent
Excellent tyre for stick in the wet & dry. Quite, no road noise. I have been lucky purchasing these tyre during a period of high rain levels & they stick to the road like having duck feet fitted to your car. I have pushed them both in the wet & dry & the result is excellent. Handing, turn in, all excellent & no aquaplaning in the wet. I have tried a few different brands & type of tyres on my ute but nothing even comes close. I have a car racing background so I have definitely been in the position to really test these tyres & I haven't been disappointed in any area. Pushing a 2 ton ute through its phases in both wet & dry really let's you know what you have underneath you. Can't tell you yet what the wear is like as I haven't had them on the car long yet, only time will tell that story. My normal rule of thumb though, is if you want a tyre that will wear well, you won't have a tyre that sticks when you need it to. For safety I would rather have a tyre that sticks & handles well & replace it when it's worn regardless the k's. It's cheaper than replacing your life. We will wait & see about wear.
Game changer
After 5000 kms in our new caravan we swapped all 4 cheap branded plus the spare, all terrain tyres over to Michelin LTX trail. Same pressure same size. I have had Michelin before on my work vehicle and they were great. Gosh what a difference, quite unbelievable actually. Gone is the skiddish sideway movement when a road train whizzes past. Gone is white knuckle driving when there is a strong side wind. What all from new tyres? You bet.
Tyre is comfortable but noisy
Tyres are comfortable while riding on low speeds but very noise after 80kmph Seems like wheel bearing noise coming from outside So recommended only for low speed
