Noisy
I bought the trail for my cruiser vxr after the force and its super noisy with a humming sound. Phone the dealership after 20km and if we can make a plan for the ltx 2 and he said no. He also confirmed there were other clients mentioning the same issue, I would Realy like a representative to drive my car and let me know but no one are willing. This is my 8th set of tires from Michelin and are really disappointed

Michelin ltx tyres, simply the best.
I just had 2 michelin ltx trail tyres installed, now to save up for the other 2. If they are anything like the ltx force tyre's I had on(2 still on) it's a winner. Best tyres I ever used is Michelin.
Excellent tyres
I have got the for my Isuzu mux they are extremely good , very less noise , simply excellent in all ways , controbility ,
Quiet and excellent grip
Since purchasing this tyre, I have been impressed with low level of noise when compared to my previous brand. I have also noticed a great improvement in grip especially I the wet.
Excellent Tyre
I Namibia, Sout West Africa, I have these on my Land Cruiser VXR. We drive on semi-off road, dirt road and tarmac. find them brilliant also at long distance very high speeds both tarmac and dirt road. The best performance is achieved with higher tyre pressure. I start off with 2,5 B back and 2,2 B front for tarmac and 2,2 B back, 2,0B front for dirt road. heavy sand we do between 0,7 and 1,2B. This set has done 71,000km now and will probably go to 100,000.
Soft tyres but VERY noisy above 60km/h
I am a long time fan of Michelin tyres and have always used the Pilot Sport range on my BMWs. They are the best tyre by a long way so I decided to try the LTX Trail on my BMW X5 which i use 80% on-road/20% off-road. The LTX Trail produced a nice soft ride and was softer than the Goodyear Wrangler Silentrac tyres i replaced however the Michelins were making a humming sound at 60km/h and it got louder by 80km/h to the point it was unbearable. The Goodyear tyres that these replaced were quiet and made no humming sound even after 75k kms of wear. Lucky Michelin had a 30 day money back guarantee and I returned the tyres and fitted Goodyear Wrangler Silenttrac again and the car was back to being silent. It is a real pity as I liked the soft ride of the Michelins around Sydney's potholed roads however the softer tyres also meant that there was more body roll in corners but I could live with that but not the loud noise.
Noisy tyre ,very noisy
I bought this tyre thinking its long life and low noise. But it is noisy , irritating whinning noise . I changed the tyre from ltx trail to primacy suv now.
So far so good, Very pleased
Ive driven with Michelin tyres all my life, so my expectation would be a bit higher when i buy a new model Michelin everytime. Since the LTX AT2s where discontinued i was looking for a set of LTX Force since it had a good reputation, but then found out none was left in the country, i then had to go for LTX Trail which didn't want to after reading some negative reviews about noise. After having them fitted and driving my first 450km at a pressure of 2bar, i will specifically trying to listen for the noise some people where complaining about, but they where DEAD SILENT, no noise at all. then i pushed then on a wet tar road and they stick like glue to it. So far im very impressed with its performance, and im pleased with how they look too. I just wish Michelin would bring back the white lettering like they used to have on LTX AT2s
