PILOT SPORT 4. 245/45R18 100Y XL

The best tyres I’ve ever had on my cars over the years. Currently on my 2015 VF STORM SV6 SEDAN, done over 70,000kms. Looking to replace them by XMAS.

Low tread for new tyre

Tread depth is only 7.5mm which seems low for a new tyre. Also noisier than the previous Hankook tyres fitted.

Awesome upgrade to my my11 wrx sti

Upgraded from Bridgestone potenza 02 and I am very happy with the enhanced grip, steering feel and comfort. I was quite surprised how much more confident I am in pushing the car around bends. They look ver nice on my stock wheels too. Have tested them in dry conditions thus far

These tyres bite the road

amazing tyres and have used various other brands. The pilot sport 4 grips the road consistently wet or dry. Well worth the money and you will not be disappointed. I drive over 40K per year and I cannot fault this tyre. Performance is consistent as the tyre wears down and only reduces as the tread gets to the legal limit.

Michelin Quality as usual

My BMW 3 series had Bridgestone run flats which I was not really happy with. I decided to change all 4 to Pilot Sport 4's and I am really pleased with the results. I've always preferred Michelin's since I first had the ZX in the 1960's. The ride is firm but that is always the case with run flats but I am pleased with the noise level and superb grip. I have given 5 stars to the longevity which I hope will be better than the 17,000 miles on the Bridgestones.

Simply the Best!

I've always had Michelin tyres from the ZX in the 1960's right up to date. Expensive, Yes, but you only get what you pay for. I've changed the Bridgestone's on my BMW 3 series to Pilot Sport 4 (run flats) and they are superb.

Average

Average really wasn’t overly impressed after reading all the hyped reviews the tyre hasn’t wowed me value for money Ermm a rage again my previous tyres on the car seam to be holidong up better the tread parttern On these pro 4 are a poor design as wear looks like a faster process on the edges and all my tracking is correct.. I was hoping more from this brand but I wouldn’t go for this again £18 dearer than my old other branded tyres

Improvement all over

Grips excellent. Minimal noise intrusion. Handles as well or better than previous tyres, that were not a semi slick. Car is a Boat of a lexus. It was running a set of semi-slick Korean branded tyres, just to get rid of them. Previous Pirelli P1's were a disappointment over the P7 before them. And for a harder less grip tyre didn't last anywhere near as long as expected. The Pilot sport 4. May lack that absolute grip of a semi slick. But it's 100% quieter. And easily a match for the P7 Pirelli tyres and I would judge over all better. You have to really get on it to light them up. Brake performance is excellent. Wear doesn't concern myself. I expect them to wear so I know they are providing grip. But what i have seen I should easily get 20,000km out of these.

History proven right

Michelin always kept there word in moto gp tyres, to stop oversteer drifting. Yes it’s all true , they are the best hard compound, and best balanced tyre to stop camber oversteer into a corner. Well done Michelin.. well done mark👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing grip and cornering ability... still a comfortable ride

These tyres are exceptional in terms of grip and wet weather traction, but also will grip like hell when having some back road fun. They also seem to be wearing well and still have plenty of tread left after 15,000km.
