Absolutely Brilliant
The difference between this and a cheaper tyre is night and day. My 2007 MX-5 2.0i Sport feels much more poised and stable, steering is extremely responsive at any speed, braking distance is noticeably reduced and the sidewall doesn't feel soft but the ride comfort is still much better than I've ever experienced from anything else. Road noise is also good, I would have expected it to be a bit louder but it's not. Great! I've not driven in the rain yet but the compound is sticky but still has Silica, its rated A for Wet so you can give it the beans all year round. The only thing I can't tell at this stage is how durable are they against pot holes and how long they'll last. They are expensive but overall if you want a very good sports tyre then this is the one to get. Although if you're driving on a track the Pilot Super Sport would offer more grip being semi-slick. But on a public road it's unnecessary in my mind. Hope this helps!
Micheline tyres are the best. My both SUVs have Michelin tyres
Go for Michelin tyres only.
A fantastic tyre that instills confidence and delivers on its claims
I drive a 2014 Hyundai I30 Elite and had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 prior. So I am familiar with the Pilot Sport difference. When I was purchasing the Pilot Sport 4, I was worried that I would "over tyre" this vehicle. The result was the opposite, it made the vehicle even better. The wet weather performance is fantastic and it feels as if you are driving on a dry road. Dry weather performance is great too. I do a lot of freeway driving and I am confident that I can stop or avoid an incident with confidence. The better wear quality certainly justifies the expense. I will certainly put these tyres on any other vehicle that I purchase in the future.
By far the best tyre I've chosen for the past 40 years
Michelin has surpassed all my expectations for the ultimate all round performance. Wet weather is excellent for side grip, braking, steering and road noise. Dry performance is comparable to any other Bridgestone I've used and road noise is minimal. I've covered over 60,000 Klm's and now replacing them with another set as I'm now converted to Michelin Pilot Sport 4's. It's truly the best of all Tyre manufactures for me.
The Best
If you value performance in the wet or dry, high levels of comfort for a UHP tyre and amazing low noise then this is simply the tyre for everyone. The tyres size that I've owned are 245/45 x 18 and 235/40 x 18 and both were very similar at being the overall best tyre for my car and my driving style.
Beautiful
The Michelin Pilot sport 4 grips the road like a 'lizard on a window pane"... more than Ni9e lives
Pilot Sport 4 is the best!
This is my third set of PS4's. To sets on Mk 7 Golf GTI, one set on Holden SV6 ute. Previously had Bridgestone Potenzas. The PS4 is the best wet weather tyre I have ever driven on, and the dry grip is amazing. So quiet and no squirm when cornering hard.

The Only Tyre I’d Buy
Firstly what a brilliant tyre! I have the DT1 235/40/18 and the full set have been on my car for 14 months now and are still perfect for many more miles. I drive very spiritedly, high speed and long distance and I’ve never had a tyre perform in all conditions above 6°C like the PS4. High speed cornering stability is excellent with great feel and direction, completely taking away the understeer I previously experienced on the OEM Dunlop Sport Maxx tyre. Wet weather grip and stopping performance has been unrivalled in all my experience of driving, again with excellent high speed grip and poise in often heavy rain, as if I was experiencing different conditions to others around me. Finally I’ve been amazed by the wear rate of this grippy, seemingly softer compound tyre. Having had the tyres on for exactly 30,000 miles on my 2017 Volkswagen Golf Estate, I can honestly say I will always use and promote the Michelin brand.
Much better than the coninentals fitted as standard on my Kadjar
When my continentals needed replacing on the front of my Renault Kadjar, I decided to give Michelin sport 4 a try.The reviews were Exc.,but related to comments left for saloon cars. I bought a pair from Ebay, brand new and a good price, and so far have given me about 14000 miles with at least 6000 left. I was so impressed that I have since purchased 4 more from an online retailer for a brill price with a dot code whch shows a manufacture date of the 3rd week of Feb 2019. So hopefully they will see me through another 2 years when fitted.
