Really good in light rain, terrible in heavy rain - absolutely incredible in warm dry conditions.
A tyre to measure all performance tyres against
What an incredible tyre. They really ruined me for tyres, and have locked me in to using Michelin tyres forever. I just wouldn't waste time on others now I see what Michelin really can do. And I have tried many other brands and tyre models over the years. My car has 483kW (650hp) and 753Nm (555 ft-lb) with strong low down torque, and this tyre helps tame the beast by providing utterly incredible traction and cornering, especially in the dry. They have the very rare mix of being super sticky *and* long lasting - it is a tyre that massively improves grip whilst also lasting longer - unheard of. You get what you pay for - they are epically capable, made for coping with hard road or track use/abuse just fine. If you want to do sums for value, factor in these might last 25% longer than other tyres, which is what they do for me. I didn't believe it until I tried them. I have now been through several sets so have decent experience to base that on. They are best in the dry - if very wet you may be better looking at Pilot Sport 4S if you want to drive harder in the wet (which I just ordered today to try out - the subject of a coming review once I have them fitted). These are as good as road tyres get in my opinion. Aside from not being as wet-focused as some others, I don't think any tyre can keep up with them in the dry. They still handle the wet well enough that I haven't had any unpredictable issues, but when you look at the tread pattern you will see they are focussed on maximum contact patch with less rubber removed for channelling water away. Some others give up some of that rubber contact patch to increase water channeling. For the dry track, the only other tyre I would look at is the Pilot Sport Cup 2 R, but that is mostly intended for dry track only and not for road use so isnt the sort of tyre I would have. These Cup 2s are the perfect mix of fully track capable, and great for hard road use in most conditions. The only thing of note is they are not intended for proper cold climate use - best used above around 7 degrees C, and not for use below -6 degrees C as the tyre compounds may not like abuse when the tyre is that cold. Have no concerns with this tyre - I have no doubt that you will find them every bit as awesome as I say they are.

They are for track and are performing perfectly

Great tyre in all weather conditions hardly any road noise from them very happy with that especially when driving a good distance great price aswell
Astonishing grip
Astonishing improvement in grip over the standard supplied Bridgestones on my Honda Type R. To the extent that the limits appear to be so huge that you don't want to test the limit off a track, this, obviously at the expense of grip in the wet, however, I would say that the handling is very predictable and let's be honest, if you chose this tyre as a year-round fit then your most likely know what you're doing and are a capable driver so you will know the limits. 5/5 would not choose any other tyre.
