A GEM from Michelin

I've had about 10 cars all with various other tyre brands. My new Q5 has the Michelin Latitude Sport 3's. At first I was concerned about its offroad ability as it looks sport orientated. Even as a heavy critic, I am absolutely blown away by these tyres. They have awesome dry and wet handling on road and superb offroad ability (for a UHP tyre). The side walls are very strong- didn't have a single failure/puncture with really harsh offroad conditions. The dry road grip makes the car behave like a sports car. My only gripe may be that they only lasted around 30,000kms - but they were pushed. I have a new respect for Michelin and cab state that these tyres are worth the extra money.

Very well though a bit noisy. Much better control over the vehicle the steering is much better much less lateral movement on uneven surfaces of which there are many.

They are fine. Hard wearing and grip ok. However I am considering a cheaper alternative brand in the future
