Terms & Conditions
- A customer needs to mount 295/80R22.5 X-Multi-Energy-Z tyre on all wheel positions of a vehicle (truck/bus), as prescribed by Michelin sales team.
- This Fuel Challenge offer is applicable for vehicles under nominal load (as per new axle load norms) and standard inflation conditions operating in CAT 2 & CAT 8 only
- For CAT 8 customers, it is important that the bus is plying on highways in inter-state operation only. Also, in case of fuel test, the onus lies with the customer to provide 2 free buses without passengers on dedicated loop for demonstration
- The comparison test to ascertain the fuel advantage of upto 6% should be carried out on two vehicles of same make, model, configuration running on same usage (Route, load, pressure) conditions. One fitted with Michelin 295/80R22.5 XMEZ and other vehicle fitted with competition tyres of same size and pattern.
- Fuel challenge will be conducted on a specific loop selected by Michelin to ensure similar usage conditions and minimum external interference.
- In case a consumer claims that the fuel saving is less than upto 6% based on his internal test, Michelin shall conduct a controlled test with the support of the customer to ascertain the test results.
- The Fleet owner shall bear the cost of the test which shall be reimbursed along with the cost of the tyre purchased during the offer period, by Michelin, in case the test results show a fuel advantage of less than 6% against competition tyres of similar size and pattern.
- The test will be conducted by Michelin trained personnel.
- The finding of the test conducted by Michelin in a manner as prescribed hereinabove shall be binding and irrevocable.
- Following will be the approximate cost of the test, which shall have to be borne by the Fleet owner along with any other expense arising during the test. Total test distance 400-600 KM
